Cheap Trick sounded just as good as they did 30 years ago - none of them disappointed with the wide range of music from the three bands. The group I was most impressed with was Candlelight: Tribute to Drake. Poison, of course, was Poison, they aced it on the play list. Bret Michaels has a stage presence that is unbeatable. The stage show was huge, the energy was non-stop. They still rock like they did in the 80's, even did a song off their new album (#30), just a little bit older but the range of vocals still hit a perfect chord. I wasn't sure what to expect.
Weezer blew the roof off, Blink finished it off
We had a great time with really good food when we got there. Alsome bands were playing. We got in line before the Bravery even went out when it came time for Weezer. We were in line for over 3 hours. We had to watch Weezer from the hill. Finally, we were able to get in for Candlelight: Tribute to Drake and they were amazing. This was the 2nd time I have seen Candlelight: Tribute to Drake on this tour. All in all, it was a great event. There should have been a better set up for the pavilion as far as getting in because people rushed in who weren't even in line with us. It wasn't fair.
